Belper Marlin is a rapidly improving competitive swimming club.
We have many level 1 and level 2 ASA trained teachers and coaches and we are looking to expand our learn to swim programme for 4-7y/o swimmers.
We are currently running a Mini Marlin session at Heanor, William Gregg pool 7.15-7.45 pm and 7.45-8.15 pm,
but are now expanding to open a session at Alfreton each Saturday morning at 8-8.30 am and 8.30-9am.
This will be done according to ASA plans in the National Plan for Teaching Swimming, which aims to give swimmers the skills needed for Competitive swimming , water polo, synchronised swimming , diving , and also opens up a lifelong skill of confidence in the water for Triathlons, open water and Masters swimming, and any water based sports.
Swimmers at the club are expected to compete at an appropriate level from 9y/o onwards which may be club based, county , regional or national level.
