Joshua Horobin swam at the Age group Nationals in Sheffield last week and produce a number of sparkling performances. He produced a PB by almost 4 seconds in the 200m Breaststroke to finish 14th overall in time of 2:34.86.
Three days later he achieved another PB on the 100m breaststroke hitting 1:10.06 with a 50m split of 32.92 This was aggressive swimming leading from the front which his coaching team had been encouraging all year. He made the final in 7th position and at the 50m turn in the final was in 4th place with a split of 32.70 and was in the mix right to the last few metres finishing 9th in 1:10.20 [just outside his pb from the morning] and only 0.7 seconds off 4th place.
Well done Joshua , an excellent end to a very successful summer of swimming.
