Three Marlins masters represented the club at the Yorkshire Open Championships in Scarborough this weekend. Jim Corbett, Chris Weeds and Rob Rantzen swam in 12 events between them with great success, bringing home 3 gold and 4 silver medals. Every swim was hard fought especially the 200 IM and 100 fly races which resulted in medals, personal bests and a promise to work harder in training! The local clubs brought big teams for the relays and invited competition from further afield. Next year mighty Marlins plan to have a bigger team with more masters and medals by the sea in Yorkshire.
