I would like to thank all the support received by my son William from members of the Marlins and Mini Marlins for his London marathon run on Sunday . He completed the marathon in a time of 6 hours 40 minutes 55 secs.
For those of you who don’t know William he used to swim for the club a few years ago and his marathon achievement is more poignant because he suffers from Cystic Fibrosis which of course affects the lungs. We went to watch him and had a fantastic day bursting with pride.
