The younger Marlins swimmers shone again at the 2nd round of the Derbys and Notts junior league. They finished a very creditable 3rd with a total of 184 pts behind Calverton and Bingham 192 and Nottingham Leander 222. There were some excellent swims with 11 victories from the 47 events and plenty of pb times.
Individual first places were Phoebe Barden, Casper Raynard, Danny Skinner, William Brookes ,Dom Shrimpling and Caitlin Oram plus Team victories in the Boy 11/u Freestyle team , both boys and girls 12/u freestyle teams and the final Cannon event with a boy and girl from each age group.
Well done to all who took part and to the wonderfully noisy supporters who cooked slowly in the heat on the balcony. Roll on round 3………
