Helpers for the Counties 2016…

Message from DASA….

Hi allWe are now just a couple of days away from DASA County Champs at Matlock and I’m asking for all clubs to do their very best to ensure we have sufficient volunteers to enable the sessions go smoothly.

We need people for front desk, health and safety and competition stewards for ALL sessions.

Please can you get the message to your parents via your usual methods and ask that people contact me directly to let me know which sessions they are available.

People that help for 2 consecutive sessions will be given refreshment/meal during the break and there is always the opportunity to ensure people see their own child swim. We do ask wherever possible that people stay for an entire session. Volunteers will be issued with either a tabard or a red shirt depending on the job they are doing which will identify them as a volunteer. Anyone who has helped in the past is asked to ensure they bring their red shirt with them.
If anyone from your club has a red shirt and is unable to continue as a volunteer, please can they look to return red shirts that are still in good condition so they can be laundered and reused.
It’s very important that clubs provide volunteers in numbers that are at least proportionate to the number of swimmers they have competing. This ensures the workload is well spread.

I look forward to hearing from your parents and seeing many of you over the 2 weekends of counties.

If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards
