On Thursday night we held the Mini Marlin club sprints. This, as usual, was well attended, with 20 swimmers split into 4 groups of similar ability swimmers. They swam two races each, one on the back one on the front. All the swimmers performed very well, with everyone enjoying the gala.
We had a bit of a problem with the medals, with not enough to go around, I hope everyone wasn’t too disappointed and they will get their medals shortly.
Thanks to all the helpers. We wouldn’t be able to hold this event without everyone’s help. Thanks to the 3 older swimmers that I press-ganged into helping us at short notice. Also thanks to Rob Rantzen for covering my session on the main pool.
