On Thursday 3rd December it was the turn of the Mini Marlin’s to put all their years training into their own mini gala,which was held at William Gregg Leisure Centre.
We had 24 children enter, with parents and grandparents filling the viewing area supporting them as they swam to
gain that first place. The evening went really well with no Dqs, just lots of smiling faces as they walked round the pool showing off their medals. Special thanks must go to the teachers, coaches and swimmers who helped on the night and not forgetting Santa , who dropped in to give out all the bags of sweets.
Many positive comments were made from the parents especially the newcomers that they had enjoyed the evening and how well it had been run, which goes to show what a bright future the club has at this level.
