Counties Report Weekend 1
Marlins swimmers were on fire for the first weekend of the County Championships at Matlock with their largest ever team producing the best ever performance with 52 medals on the first weekend.
This was a test for the new training regime of Ultra short race pace training for the senior squads and the performances at both sprint and distance events were equally impressive. I have not seen such a complete all round display by the club exhibiting power, pace , endurance and technical skills to a very high level.
Well done to all and let’s repeat the performance next weekend.
