That’s it for another year…
Over the last two weekends we have seen some great swimming from all the Mighty Marlins from our U8’s swimming in 25m events to the Masters swimming in the 200m events.
To bring the event to a close we finished in the notorious Marlin style with the Parents v Swimmers race. After a tight race, it all came down to the final 25m with the swimmers just taking the lead by 1 sec…
We now need to take time to reflect and thank all of the Helpers so a Big Marlin thankyou to the following:
Announcing Team keeping us aware of all the Events.
The AOE Team for the visual times and Results.
All of the Judges and Officials and a big thanks to Peter Marshall for co-ordinating this.
The Competitive Stewards & Team Managers, a very stressful at times position, equally as important in organising all swimmers young and old.
The Health and Safety Stewards who once again did a sterling job keeping us Safe.
Finally a Big Thankyou to the Promoters for co-ordinating all of the Teams prior to and during the meet.
Thankyou everyone for making this years Club Championships one to remember.
