The Marlins were in festive spirit for the final of division 2 of the Arena league and saved their best performances till last, sweeping aside all the other teams to win by a clear 15 points.
With 17 victories in the 50 events the lead gradually increased at every count and the men’s 6x50m freestyle team rounded it all off with a wonderful victory cheered on by our loyal and noisy supporters.
There were many excellent performances on the night individually and team wise and a number of club records tumbled.
Well done to all the swimmers who have swam this year and to all the officials, team managers and coaches who were lucky enough to be there last night and at previous rounds.
So in 2017 we’ll got to division 1 next year as;
