Following a review of the Session registers after month 1 of this year at the February Committee Meeting it has become apparent that there are swimmers attending sessions that they have Not been registered against.
The registers are kept for a number of reasons:-
1) Attendance & Absence to Sessions.
2) To ensure that the Club can ensure that the Sessions don’t become overloaded and that when swimmers request additional sessions they can be placed in sessions that allow this.
All BMSC Swimmers agreed which sessions they will be attending at the beginning of the year and direct debits / monthly fees are set against this per swimmer.
To the same note if you haven’t paid your yearly subscription (Due by 31/01/2016) could you please ensure you do so ASAP, as again this is being monitored via the Club.
If you turn up for a session that you are not registered against then you will be told you cannot swim.
Occasionally sessions are missed due to family or school commitments, these can be made up at the Approval of the Lead Coach at the session and arrangements need to be made prior to the session you wish to attend, however attending sessions that you are not registered for isn’t acceptable.
To clarify if you pay for 4 sessions you must only attend those sessions you are registered against not 4 of your choice during the week.
BMSC is continuing to grow at a rapid rate and each month on average we have 4-6 New swimmers attend the Assessment Day, if we intend to accommodate these New swimmer’s we need to be able to feed them into the sessions without upsetting the current lane loading, we also need to move swimmers around, this is done via reviewing the session Registers
