It’s lovely to be in demand with so many parents and swimprovers so keen to get LT started agin in 2016.
It’s also great to have celebrated so many successes in the pool at the recent Club Champs Presentation Evening, thank you everyone for making it so much fun.
LT will start for both groups very soon at the usual times in the usual places in BLC. Please watch this blog for updates, we’re finalising co-ordination of coaches commitments, available/suitable rooms at BLC and BMSC gala commitments.
Reminder 1: Last winners, please return LT swimprover trophy at the next session. If you can’t be there then please pass on to someone who will be able to return it.
Reminder 2: Please ensure all swimprovers bring plenty of water, wear the correct clothing and footwear for indoor training and have rubberised resistance bands at all times.
Reminder 3: We ensure that all drills are age appropriate but we also don’t work to “half measures” so if swimprovers have taken full advantage of the winter break then please ensure that some higher impact work e.g. “5-4-3-2-1’s” and blood flow warm up work e.g. “Pool Deck 8” (all of which have been published in the past) has been undertaken by swimprovers before they get to their first LT session of 2016. As we get back on track it’s highly likely that swimprovers will have some muscle ache, it’s okay, it’s just your muscles groaning after a good rest.
