LT Ends 2014 On A High

Another great turnout to LT last week. We’re now consistently in the high 40’s in attendance every week, which shows stunning support by some very dedicated swimmers.

Both groups did even more great explosive work (supporting starts and turns) and core work work (body control in stroke) and band work (linking core to muscle control in stroke) this week. It’s great to see so many doing so well and a great way to end LT for 2014, we should be back on the 11/1/2015 but keep an eye on the blog for updates.

Swimprover’s of the week are:
Group 1: Alisha Haslam
Group 2: Ryan Horrobin

As a result of LT’s successes in attendance and pool performance along with the LT coach’s commitment to continuous swimmer development, many swimmers/parents/guardians will have heard and read about some of our new swimmer check in/out procedures which started last week.

We are expecting and planning for LT to keep growing and we want as many swimmers to be involved. We have been working very hard to further prepare and plan for this ongoing success within the BMSC set up.

LT Document

We ask every swimmer/parent/guardian to click on the link above to download the LT document, read, complete, sign and return by no later than the 11/1/2015 for every swimmer attending LT to Christian Barden (Head of LT), Steve Dymond or Richard Oram.
This document can also be found on the club website in Latest News.
We’re encouraging and inviting questions or concerns in person as per the spirit of all we do at BMSC and that detailed in the document. Christian Barden will also present and field any questions at the BMSC Q&A parents evening on 4/11/2015.

Good luck at the Club Champs and DASA Sprints everyone over the next three weekends.
